I have worked as a Team Member of CAD Team. Owner of the habitability zone established in the forward of submarine. Responsible for :
(i) Model generation and detail engineering of ship systems mainly divided in four part structure, piping, and trunking, equipment (electrical & mechanical).
(ii) Provide online technical support and resolve querries of execution team from site.
(iii) Prepare a 3D (Catia)/ 2D model to ascertain the feasibility of the alternative design being work out.

Carry out interference checks in complex ship environment using CATIA tool N4D.
Value addition in the designer drawings to make it suitable for fabrication.
Co-ordination with designer for solving interferences and any fabrication related inadequacies.
Co-ordination with other concerned department for solving the problems related to material, fabrication and installation.
Extract isometric drawing and co-ordinates of pipe spools using ISOEXTR.
Generation of spool surface development drawings using Autocad support Development program and AutoPol. Develop manually surface development for complicated spool part.
Converting conceptual design into engineering design.
Preparation of fabrication drawings.
To prepare BOM for piping systems.
Making Drawing Change Requirement (DCR) to enhance the work after taking approval from approving authority.
