Objective
I would like to continue to grow and learn as a sea going marine engineer. I am very keen to gain as much experience as possible and progress in my marine engineer class, next step Class 2.

Assess overhaul and service various makes and types of pumps and valve systems including vacuum pumps and roots type blowers.

Repair and service various type of hydraulic equipment onsite, including freight lifters, vehicle hoists and tail gate loaders.

Proficient welder TIG, MIG, ARC.
Plenty of steam experience, boiler operation fault diagnosis and surveys.

Excellent problem solver and fault finding skills with a high regard for health and safety.
Able to use various types of communication
Able to read schematics for ship systems and electrical diagrams.
General engineering is also a strong point for me.
My experience has been varied and not all working on ships.
However working on ships as an engineer is my passion and it is my goal to get back into the industry and continue my career at sea.
I am very interested in any marine engineer type position working at sea. It is my greatest commitment to return to working at sea as an engineer
