Total 28 Years Maritime Experience, including 1 yr with Edison Chouest, 2 yrs with AMSEA, Sealift & Maersk on the Military Sealift Command on RO/RO and Tanker; 6 yrs with Dyn Marine & Metson Marine on Marine Spill Response Corp on Responder Vessels, 10 yrs with Sun-State Marine Towing and 6 yrs with Coastal Corporation. Vessels operated include: High HP Tugs, Single & Double Drum Towing Double Barges, Notch-Units Fuel (60,000 Tons), Anchor Handling Towing Supply, Dynamic Positioning. Barges Towed include: Derricks, Jack-Up Rigs, Marine Construction, Fuel/Deck-Combo (10,000 tons). Areas of Operation include: US/Alaska Inside Passage, Panama Canal, Suez Canal, Japan, Korea, Marshall Islands, Middle East and South America.


Education


Associate of Applied Science in Nautical Science & Marine Engineering, Eligible by American Council on Education. Aviation Maintenance Technician, per NTSB Standards of Maintenance from Mid Florida Technical Institute and Lively Technical Institute, Florida.

Master Structural Welding & Fitting (Thick Plate), Certified in Stick, Mig & Flux-Core from Missouri Welding Institute.


Certification


U.S. Merchant Marine Officer, Lic #11xxxxx, Issue 6, Exp September 6, 2011. Master of Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 1600 gross registered tons (domestic tonnage), 3000 gross tons (ITC tonnage) upon oceans; radar observer-unlimited (exp June 2011). Master Towing Vessels upon oceans and western rivers.

U.S. Merchant Marine Officer, License No. 11xxxxx, Issue 5, Expires August 21, 2011. Chief Engineer (limited-oceans) of motor or gas turbine vessels of not more than 1600 gross registered tons (domestic tonnage), 3000 gross tons (ITC tonnage) of not more than 6000 HP (4500 KW). Designated Duty Engineer of motor or gas turbine vessels of any HP. Chief Engineer (OSV) limited to offshore supply vessels of motor or gas turbine vessels of any HP.

US Merchant Mariner's Document No. 01xxx, Expires August 17, 2011, with endorsements: Able Body Seaman-Unlimited, Any Unlicensed Rating in Engine Department, Steward Department-Food Handler, Tank Person in Charge-Dangerouse Liquids, Life Boat Man-Fast Rescue Boats.
