Experience
Working as Third Engineering officer on board different crude oil tanker VLCC,AFRAMAX , SUEZMAX.
• Designed and implemented a part replenishment strategy on board vessel.
• Responsible for Bunker planning on board and taking bunkers .
• Set up standard procedures for changing over different grades of Marine fuel oil
(HSFO to LSFO n vice-versa)
• Benchmarked and adopted standards for ISO and BP
• Hands on experience of all the FFA equipment on board including Foam system, Semi Portable / portable Fire Extinguishers, Steam Smothering System and various LSA equipment such as SCBA sets, ELSA et, including their maintenance.
• In charge for preventive and routine maintenance for various machineries and ancillaries such as Fuel oil ,Diesel oil and sea water pumps, air compressors, Purifiers, cargo oil pump turbine, diesel generators and Marine Boilers in compliance with chief engineer.
• Responsible for setting up BP Predictive Maintenance Condition Monitoring using Vibration Analysis on board ( ODEYESSE & ENPAC) for the Predictive maintenance startergy of all the machinery installed on board.
• Assisted in setting up a new preventative and predictive maintenance programs (AMOS).
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance as per planed preventive maintenance schedule and Inventory control..
• Worked on different type of machinery. Nature of job includes operation, maintenance and watch keeping of these machineries. List of machineries are not limited to the following
? MARINE DIESEL GENERATOR YANMAR, DAIHATSU,STX B&W
? AIR COMPRESSOR YANMAR , SPHERE
? AUXILIARY BOILER AND EXHAUST BOILER.
? VARIOUS TYPE OF PUMPS SCREW PUMPS, GEAR PUMP ,RECIPROCATING PUMP AND CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS.
? MAINTENANCE OF COLD ROOM AND AIR CONDITION PLANT.
? VARIOUS POLLUTION PREVENTION EQUIPMENT SUCH AS – SEWAGE PLANT, OILY WATER SEPARATOR AND INCINERATOR.
