Objective
Having worked on ship for 9 yrs, now i would like to switch to a shore job in technical support, operations or QMS department.
Experience
My last contract was with Fleet Management Ltd., Hongkong as Chief Engineer, for a period of six months, on a geared handymax bulk carrier.
Have done 4 contracts of 2nd Engineer, 6 months each, on panamax and handysize bulk carriers.
Have total experience of 9 yrs at sea from January 1998 till September 2007.
Have attended total five drydocks, out of which two were 5th special survey and three were 4th special survey.
Have the in-depth knowledge of latest rules and regulations and have worked mostly on MAN B&W Engines.
Education
1) Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.
Certification
1)MEO Cl-I (Ministry of surface transport, Govt. of India).
2)All mandatory STCW courses.
3)Done courses in Hydraulics, Marine electrical technology, Welding and gas cutting technology.
Skils
1) Familiar with computer based maintenance programs such as, Paris 6.0, AMOS W, SMMS.
Willing to take up a position in new building division, technical support, operations or QMS departments.
