Vels Academy of Maritime Education & Training, Chennai. As their Principal and consultant. Established the college infrastructure and DGS approvals for B.E MARINE, GME DME courses.
Designed and Built Training Ship in campus “M.V.VELS EXCELLENCE”,(27.5mx18.809mx15.20m-LXBXH) as per the DG shipping requirement- engine room size approximately of 10,000 DWT tanker. This is the first steel ship in campus in our country, and inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Shipping.
MARITIME FOUNDATION , Chennai , Tamilnadu , as the Founder and Managing Director
Founded the training institution "Maritime Foundation, developed marine engineering and nautical courses to suit post and pre- sea training, approved by the Govt. of India- D.G.Shipping. Established quality management system with Institute awarded ISO 9001:2000 by DNV. Organized the training structure to cater for residential training for about 150 new aspirants after their O level and graduation in mechanical engineering. Guided the candidates to take up career in merchant shipping.
In Sept 2003, sold off the training establishment to interested parties to continue the organization. Institution is well known and recognized as a premier training academy in India

in the company's tanker and offshore divisions. Responsible to the management for effective logistic support, effective management of the vessels, costing, planning and repairing as per projected budget.
Ocean Tramping company Ltd , Hong kong , as their Chief Engineer
on various bulk carriers on tramp trade. Responsible for efficient operation and maintenance, at sea and port / repair yards. Range of vessels vary from 23,000 dwt to 40,000 dwt.- motor ships

Dempo Steam ships Ltd, Mumbai, India , Indian flag as their Addl Second Engineer. Worked as Third and Second engineer on board Handy-size (23,000 dwt) bulk carrier engaged in a world wide tramping trade. (Main engine BHP: 9,000., Aux composite boiler)
Indian Navy , India Marine Engineer Officer- Relinquished commission on successful completion of seven years of short service commission. Duties of marine engineer officer in the rank of Sub-Lieutenant and Lieutenant on various naval ships and naval dockyard.
