AS SUPERVISOR
? Operation, maintenance, defect analysis and rectification of Main Propulsion Diesel Engines(8600 BHP), Diesel Alternators, Air Conditioning Plants, Pumps, Hydraulic Machineries, Control Systems(Electric, Pneumatic, Electro Hydraulic) Portable and Fixed fire fighting systems and equipments, Workshop machineries, RO Plants and Instrumentations & control/Safety Devices.
? Leading the team of generally 10 or more Engineering Department personal, overall in charge of machinery control room at sea on board a ship with all machinery running or stand by or under going defect rectification for effective monitoring and in time actions.

? Installation, Commissioning, Trials, Documentation, Defect Analysis, forecasting of demands for spares, Refit Cycle, and Scheduled planned preventive maintenance of all machineries.
? Design Modification of piping system.
? Estimation/Preparation of bills of materials.

Defense Machinery Design Establishment where indigenization of spares by reverse engineering which are at present imported is under taken.( The job involves collection of various documents about the spares, making data bank, doing material analysis, identifying vendors, preparing tenders, placing orders, doing QC, than doing bulk purchasing, dispatching and storing etc where liasioning with very large organizations such as Naval Dockyards Mumbai, Vizag BARC, All leading shipyard and pvt vendors/firms such Larson And Toubro etc is involved)
? Shock Testing of newly designed equipments by impact test machine.
? Vide industrial experience as part of the Diesel testing tuning team Mumbai(Naval Dockyard Mumbai) and also at Defense machinery design Wing

(A) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of service and professional experience as Artificer in Indian Navy is at par with Degree in Mechanical from any recognized University of India
