Dry Dock Maintenance These dry dock maintenance has been performed in shipping docks in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

This included planning jobs that needed to be performed during the ships dry dock maintenance. Working with shore personnel in all aspects of the overhaul or of all major machinery on board.

Executed installation of new machinery during this period .

Fuel Oil Lubricating Oil Purifers/Heaters This includes installation and replacement of parts. Troubleshooting and regular maintenance Alfa Laval,Westfalia,IFO,HFO

Various Pumps & Air Compressors Installation of any new pumps/compressors.

Regular maintenance and monitoring.

Air Conditioning Systems A working knowledge of air-conditioning systems as any faults with the system has to be repaired by engineers Carrier

Refrigeration Systems Monitoring of temperature on a daily basis and repairing when the need arises

Service Service Elevators Working knowledge of the operations of service elevators

Flash Evaporators /Reverse Osmosis Plant Regular maintenance and monitoring. 40/tons per day

Outboard Motors All repair and maintenance All Types/ Models

Welding Works Sound knowledge of welding works

Oily Water Separators Operations and maintenance

Inventory Control for Engine room parts & Consumables

This includes keeping records of all stock received and issued including ordering of parts when minimum quantities is reached . Ensuring that parts kept are correct. Making recommendations for the improvement of stock control.

Gas Plants A sound knowledge of LPG systems and machinery related to the transfer and carriage of LPG cargo .Maintenance of all gas plant equipment on board .

Planning Ship Pr Preventive Maintenance This includes entering data into maintenance programs . Organising work plans for subordinates. Reporting and recommending any faults or improvements to Chief Engineer. Ensuring that resources are available for any planned jobs and also ensuring that jobs are within planned timetable and costs. Amos, Masp Program

Ship Safety Management systems This includes all safety procedures documentation and work permits are adhered to with the ultimate goal being a safe and accident free environment . Writing reports of incidents and advising Chief engineer. Making recommendations on improvement of safety systems.

Laising with outside contractors This involves planning with outside contractor whenever there are jobs that need to be done by shore personnel. Being the contact person whenever the Marine surveyors are inspecting.

Dry Dock Maintenance These dry dock maintenance has been performed in shipping docks in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
