All phases of operation and maintenance of Caterpillar, EMD, Detroit and Cummins marine engines and associated auxillary equipment; cargo loading and transfer operations; seismic and oil drilling operations; maintaining detailed maintenance reports via handwritten logs and onboard maintentance software programs; repair and maintenance of onboard HVAC, plumbing, electric, DP2 systems; maintain vessel in accordance with Federal & State regulations and classification societies; train and supervise junior personnel; able to work extended shifts and extended hitches if necessary
