• My role in this position was to act as owner representative and project manager for the company new building project in Alexandria shipyard. The project is to build 30 Self propelled barges with a total cost of round 450 MEGP.
• Shared in the design, materials and equipment specifications review with design office.
• Shared in the sourcing of all materials in equipment in cooperation with the procurement department.
• Monitor all ongoing production activities in the shipyard and follow up production process Vs plan.
• Attend all surveys together with the classification society.
• Perform all project reporting activities to the management.
• Took the lead in one of the company special projects which was the purchase of two floating cranes with total investment of 50 MEGP from the profitability analysis till commissioning.
• Due diligence for Inland Transport Co. in Sudan.
• Involved in some of the operational activities for the company’s new barges including loading, offloading, terminal work & navigational routes assessment.
