• I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering in ‘Mechanical Engineering’ from Mumbai University in July 1996.

• After my pre-sea training in ‘Marine Engineering’, I joined O.M.C.I.; a shipping company as junior engineer in 1998 till 2004 and worked as 4th engineer.

• In yr.2004 I joined BP shipping as 3rd engineer and have been part of it since then. Presently I am working as 2nd engineer on their foreign going oil tankers ships.



• I have Certificate of competency class I (Motor) M.O.T. (Chief engineer)



• During the tenure of mine in the Shipping Industry, I have enhanced my technical skills and expertise in management and maintenance systems; also I have been actively involved in all the stages of upgradation of maintenance systems in classification society approved PMS systems.



• Expertise in developing planning areas for actual and various planning versions planning levels, planning packages, planning folders also have knowledge about modern Offshore Technologies.



• Innovative & a positive attitude. Exposed to full cycle right from trouble shooting and machinery analysis, maintenance, design modification, development, performance tuning and documentation etc.



• Expertise in ship’s operation and maintenance support related activities like monitoring the loads via process chains, trend analysis, vibration analysis and also resolving the problems.
