• Provided technical and on-site project support to the construction manager overseeing work on the new LA/USC Hospital $6.5 billion project.
Working as an intern, I was responsible for updating files distributed from construction managers to the appropriate engineering drawings. Gathering weekly photo documentation in the field facilitated progress reports written by construction managers to workers. Database upkeep was done with reference for information (RFI’s) and photo documentation in a Microsoft Excel database for daily review from head manager.
• Communication with project engineer to update AutoCAD drawings of the developing hospital.
Details of AutoCAD drawing updates were given by project manager. Necessary changes were made and returned to project manager for further review and delivery to project engineer for final review and submission of new drawing.

• Communications facilitator for prescribing physicians, pharmacists, and patients.
Patient health and information was received from pharmacist and put into medical database. Information was retrieved by physicians and pharmacists to analyze and communicate to me the proper labels and management of patient files.

ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Manufacture and Design: Sports Utility Rack (tripod design)
- 22 hours working with manufacturing machines: lathe, drill press, laser cutter, pneumatic grinding, band saw, MIG welder, micrometer
- Design process facilitated by the use of AutoCAD software and engineering drawings
Worked in a team of 3 with constant communication between project leader (teacher) and manufacturing expert. Project updates given to leader allowed for timely work and problem solving. Incorporation of business marketing strategies to final project made the design applicable and desirable to the real world.
Business Database System: Sports Utility Store
- Data input into Microsoft Access, and system structure development using structured query language (SQL)
- Professional Business proposal of sports utility store presented through Microsoft Powerpoint
A set of given data was interpreted and the best approach method was chosen by group of 5. Problems such as, store hours, inventory, and location, were chosen and input into our Access store system. Final result showed system hours and final production in categories, customer service, employee satisfaction, and financial wealth.
Sensitivity and Public Policy Analysis

Modeling of Stocks and Feedback
- Incorporated iThink with Microsoft Excel to create a model of the HIV/AIDS epidemic
