Objective
I would like a shore based position as a Engineering superintendent or new build technical lead, would possible consider sea-going position to prove my worth.
Experience
I spent 20 years at sea mostly on products /crude oil carriers ,did do some relief work on AHWS vessels as 1 st assistant engineer, I have stood by the construction of new vessels and delivery voyages.
Early in my sea going career I was at sea as an electrician until I obtained my C of C.
I have managerial experience in shore employment
Education
I have a degree as Marine Engineer-graduated from Hunter Institute of Technology,Newcastle,Australia.
Certification
I Have class 11 Marine Engineer ,currently valid until 2014 to STCW standards 95
have oil tanker endorsement
June 2009 undertook course of study for M.A.N. B&W diesel engines ME electronic control engines.
Skils
Marine Engineer, Electrical and Control systems, most micro-soft based programs ..management
Nov 2009 attended college for C of C re-validation course and medical to AMSA and STCW 95 standards valid until 2014
The past several years I have been employed developing engine room training simulators.Most noted project was the Anchor Handling Supply Vassal project for Swire training centre -Singapore.
I have duel citizenship,holding USA and Australian passports.
I would be happy to relocate for the right position
