Objective
I wish to pursue a career within the mechanical engineering field. I have 16 years of experience as a Marine Engineer/technical superintendent and currently hold an Marine engineer officer class 1 motor license of unlimited horsepower aboard motor vessels. In my experience sailing as a Chief engineer and first assistant engineer, I have managed teams of 10 to 15 people in operating and maintaining large sea going vessel's machinery room. I have continued my education as an engineer with related courses in pneumatic. I desire a career on land that encompasses all of my abilities as an engineer and that will constantly challenge me
Experience
Present- Marine Engineer- Crude Oil Carrier in NITC. I have worked/ sailed in the capacity of a engineer superintendent and Marine Engineer respectively for the past16 years, including all types of ocean going vessels such as oil tankers and product vessels.12/20/2004 onwards -Sailing as chief engineer in crude oil tanker for NITCr.07/13/200 to 09/24/2004- Sailing as 2nd engineer (1st asst engineer) in oil tankers crude/product for NITC.03/20/1993 to 01/28/200 - Sailing as 3rd engineer,4th engineer and junior engineer in oil tankers for NITC. Boilers, steam turbine, various types of pumps, centrifuge purifiers, various pipe line systems, valves, central air conditioning plant, refrigeration plant, fresh water generators, sewage plants.· Following inspections were carried out under my management;1) vetting inspections by oil majors like Bp,Shell. 2) Various classification society inspections like Annual surveys, DNV, LIOYDS.
