Designer-Contract

Laid out, designed and detailed parts and assemblies of piston driven metering pumps, pump systems and components for the water and wastewater treatment markets, hydrocarbon processing industries, oil & gas and in power generation industries. Pump flows ranged from 28 to 2000 GPH. Software used: Autocad 2000/ 2009 and Solidworks 2008. Customer General Arrangement drawings, structured bills of material using J.D. Edwards inventory management software. Manage files using Adept 9 software. Used Lean Manufacturing System (Standard Work, 5S, Heijunka, and Kaizen).



2005-2006 Matheson Tri-Gas Montgomeryville, PA

Designer- Contract

Designed from specifications, high purity gas panel assemblies (process/ purge), using Inventor 10 and Adept 6.0.

Draw tube weldment assemblies, using Swagelok fittings and stainless steel tubing (1/4 to ½” dia.).

Working knowledge of Adept 8 file management program.

Used MAPICS Inventory management software.



2003-2005 Empire Abrasive Equipment, Langhorne, PA

Engineer, Design

Designed, detailed and generated B/M’s for sandblasters, cabinet assemblies and blasting rooms (Hoffman).

Modeled and drew using of Inventor 8 and Autocad 2005. Manufacturing software, MAPICS. Sheet metal cabinets, pressure vessels screw floors for media recovery.

Managed entire system project from concept to manufacturing and customer follow up.

Sheet metal gauges and bending tolerances. Mathematical calculations of structural materials and design.

Designed, detailed and managed bills of material (MRP/ ERP) for high current bolted pressure switches and switchgear assemblies for the railroad and electrical industry.

Generate drawings using AutoCAD 2000 (2D and 3D) and Intuitive Manufacturing Systems. Electrical bar bussing configurations.

Electrical Control Schematics (wiring to PLC’s), machined parts and NEMA type enclosures designs. Adapted switchgear technology to customer specifications.

Designed Airbrasive Machining Systems for specific applications (miniature sand blaster), including Pneumatic and Electrical diagrams (PLC wiring), Parts, assembly drawings and bill of materials.

Design complete Flexible Drive Shaft Assemblies, details and B/M’s.

Design, Assembly and Detail drawings and Bills of Material using Autocad Rel. 14, Microsoft Word and Fourth Shift inventory management program.

Edit and write Instruction Manuals and Advertising Flyers for Airbrasive machining using CorelDraw and Microsoft Word.
