Duties and responsibilities
A progression through the organization starting as superintendent, and then quickly moved as Technical Manager in the operations department. Responsibilities successfully undertaken for 6 yrs include, but not limited to, following:
• Accountable for all technical aspects for company owned offshore supply vessel, tugs, utility / crew boats operating world wide
• Maintaining close liaisons with class authorities ensuring vessels are maintained in class at all times
• Making of repairs / maintenance and dry docking budgets for each vessel and ensuring expenditure is kept within agreed upon budget;
• Organizing repairs during port calls, emergencies and scheduled Dry docking. Independently supervised dockings at Singapore, Greece, Turkey, West Africa and the Middle East;
• Providing technical input to the commercial department for worldwide tender bids;
• Inspecting and purchasing of offshore supply vessels and tugs on company’s behalf.
