Experience
? More than 1 year experience as marine pollution Control Engineer at PESCo. (Petroleum Environmental Service Co.)
• Rotated between 5 bases around Egypt (Alexandria – Hurghada – Ras Gharib – Suez-Sharma el sheikh) Involved in 5 real response incidents (grounding ship – oil transfer – broken oil pipeline – rescue, salvage & Environmental Protection after Dramatic Flash Airplane Crash)
And take the following Responsibilities:
• Preventive maintenance and minor repair for: (Diesel units – hydraulic power packs – vacuum units – water & oil transfer pumps - Steam jet cleaners and outboard engines for high-speed boats)
• Planned maintenance by computer program (frontline shire software) where maintenance tasks (monthly, 3 month, 6 month & yearly or running hours) for all equipment are scheduled.
• Spare parts store control using computer program (stock control shire software).
• Quality control and implementation of ISO 9001-2000 management system
• Operations room supervision in oil spill incidents (Planning – Monitoring – Reporting).
• Maintenance IT machines (Computers – Fax – Printers – Scanners – VHF).
Safety responsibilities:
• Safety representative for loading/offloading operations and equipment handling
• Hold Weekly & Pre job safety meetings to discuss jobs hazard analysis
• Look after health and safety on the offshore and shore line oil spill combating sites and ensure that the site is clear from hazards.
• (Daily) base visual inspections including ensuring: fire lanes are clear, storage material is as far as possible from buildings - fire access not blocking, flammable & combustible liquids are not stored in the buildings - staff are following safety instructions and wearing personnel protective equipment PPE during work
• Inspect fire fighting extinguishers and first aid kits
• Hold evacuation& fire fighting training drills.
• Stocktaking(inventory) personnel protective equipment (PPE) store
• Ensure that waste disposals are done environmentally friendly.
• Check equipment under repair are well tagged
• Inspect possible hazards and inform head office by incident report.
• When accidents occur lead the investigations, identify the causes and advise on any improvements in safety standards that need to be made then write accident report.
? More than 4 months experience as marine Engineer supervisor at(IMPX Co. & HORSE Co.) for 7 fishing vessels (LOA from 24m :27m) travailing from Egypt to Sierra Lion Joie port (port for HORSE Co.) For fishing in Sierra Lion.
And work as port engineer after arrives.
And take the following Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair for the 7 fishing vessels main engine and all assistant machines (gearbox, battery charger ,dynamo , electric equipment , hydraulic power packs, water & oil &fuel transfer pumps, ice breaker, fishing winch and outboard engines )
• Solve marine's problems.
? More than 6 months experience as marine Engineer at Nefertiti marine service Co. working on tourist vessel (WIND K ) in Sharma El Sheikh (2 Maine engine cat 550 HP and 2 generators perkanze 83KW).
And take the following Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair vessel and all assistant machines (main engines, gearbox, battery charger, dynamo, electric equipment, water & oil &fuel transfer pumps, electric circlet and fuel system).
• Solve marines' problems.
? Work as marine engineer for 1 fishing vessel travailing from Egypt to Labia the boat's name sara2 (Maine engine Daewoo 420HP).
And take the following Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair boat and all assistant machines (main engines, gearbox, battery charger, dynamo, electric equipment, water & oil &fuel transfer pumps and fuel system).
• Solve marine's problems.
? Work more than 1 year as chief engineer for new fishing vessel (2005) built in Italy and work in Eretria for Egyptian company (EGY fishing co.).

• Maintain and repair boat and all assistant machines (main engines, refrigerator , gearbox, battery and battery charger, electric equipment, water & oil &fuel transfer pumps, refrigeration systems , air conditions ,electronic systems , fishing gear, electric winch ,water distillation machine and fuel system).
• Solve marine's problems.
