Marine Engineer

Objective


To serve as operation and maintenance engineer on board a vessel.

To be part of an engineering team in a dry dock or ship building yard.

Position; 2nd Tug Engineer

Responsibilities; Operational duties,routine maintenance(daily,weekly,etc),breakdown maintenance. Daily logging and weekly reports to the Maintenance Engineer.

Bunkering and trimming,Fire monitor equipments operation,oil spillage control equipments operation etc.

Major Achievements; I was selected, among twenty six tug engineers,to study on a new tug boat being built for GPHA,Takoradi in August 2005 at Damen Shipyard in The Netherlands.

In 2007,I was awarded the best worker in the department.

Ghana Rubber Estate Limited;04/1996-02/1997.

Position;Mechanical Technician-Group Leader.

Responsibilities;I led a group to do new equipments installation for a production line-this included foundation preparation, alignment etc.
