July 2006 –September Motorized Fishing Vessel - Irish Venture Alabama, USA

Job Title: Pipe work Supervisor 165ft long with 3,000 H.P.

• Responsible for the Planning and Installation of a 10inch stainless steel Fish Handling Pipe work system and a 6 inch Water Return Pipe work system on board the Irish Venture (a $12M boat to be launched December 2006 - 165ft long by 40ft wide)

April 2006 – July Motorized Fishing Vessel - Dawn Ross Cork, Ireland

Job Title: Chief Engineer 100FT long with 1,200 H.P.

• Responsible for the functionality of the ship (10 days on, 10 days off work Rota).

• Responsibilities included all fitting, welding, engine room management, shore activities etc.

• Responsible for the entire Hydraulic Systems on board the vessel

September 2005 – April 2006 Motorized Fishing Vessel - Neptune 1 Dakala, Morocco

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 170FT Long with 6,000 H.P.

• General Repair and Maintenance work on board e.g. welding, fitting, engine room maintenance and repair, on shore maintenance of the ship, Responsible for the entire Hydraulic Systems on board of the vessel etc.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 190ft long 6,500 H.P.

• Repair and Maintenance work on board the Atlantic Challenge

• Responsible for Mechanical and Electrical maintenance

• Duties included Engine Room Maintenance, Chilling System for Fish Chilling, Winch Control, Wheelhouse Watch when required, Responsible for the entire Hydraulic Systems on board the vessel

• Worked in the USA on 3 separate Fishing Vessels as Mechanical Engineering Support was needed

• My experience in such places as the North Sea include that of Chief Engineer and Mechanical Engineer with large Fishing vessels e.g. I have worked as a Mechanical Engineer on the Atlantic Dawn, a 20,000 horsepower, 450Ft long Fishing Trawler with a crew of 60.

• Have worked in more than 7 countries (Holland, Morocco, Mauritania, Western Sahara, USA, Las Palmas, Chile and Ireland) and have thoroughly enjoyed working with many different nationalities.

• Among the many certificates I have earned through the years, I have also passed the OLF Basic Safety and Emergency Preparedness including HUET, LAPP Combined Lifejacket and Rebreather and EBS to NOGEPA standard (valid until 28/09/2010)

• 17 Years experience as a Welder and Fitter in Steel Fabrication.
