Extensive knowledge of several types of vessel propulsion systems such as: Z-drives, Controlled Pitch, Fixed Pitch, and Mechanical & Electrical Thrusters, Knuckle & Dropdown type Thrusters

With 8 years in eng rooms, 6 of the 8 years has been as Chief of the vessel, Currently running as Chief of M/V Dante a 280’ 7200 HP supply vessel that was built in 2006

Extensive working knowledge of effective supervisory function; Supervised, trained, and coordinated activities of crew engaged in operating and maintaining propulsion engines, deck machinery, electrical, refrigeration, and sanitary equipment aboard ship; I have been appointed the responsibility of supervising workers since February 15,2001 and at times have had up to 14 employees under my supervision.

Extensive working knowledge of all marine function; Operating and monitoring all machinery and engineering equipment, accurately recording all vital plant information, and providing routine maintenance of the machinery and equipment.

Extensive working knowledge of emergency response; Securing the water tight integrity of the vessel, maintaining and testing of all emergency equipment in the engine room, and providing first aid to injured personnel.
