Experience


Cadet Engineer 2002 -2004, Served on several commercial and Quasi-military vessels, which included Steam, Diesel, and Gas Turbine propulsion plants. Assisted ship’s engineers in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the ship’s systems, which included both preventative and predictive maintenance. Duties included but were not limited to, maintenance of ship’s main propulsion engines, power generators, performing boiler water chemistry tests, transferring fuel oil, ballasting, trouble shooting complex electrical systems, rebuilding pumps and electrical motors, maintenance of fuel oil purifiers, operation of fresh water distillery,



Intern 2004, PSEG Power, Observed and participated in the maintenance of the LM2500 gas turbine engine, as well as pumps and motors used in combined cycle and co-generation power plants. Further, I familiarized myself with the operations of combined cycle and co-generation power plants.
