CONTRACTING OFFICERS TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE:
• Served as a U.S. Coast Guard Contracting Officers Technical Representative over a period of four years with oversight of 28 scheduled, individual boat repair contracts valued at $20,000 each with Reedsport Machine and Fabrication.
• Served as COTR for 8 emergency boat repair contracts valued at $50,000 each.
PROPULSION MACHINERY MAINTENANCE CHIEF:
• Supervised/Mentored 8 Coast Guard engineering crews with repairs and maintenance of 13 forty-seven foot Motor Life Boats, 6 search and rescue fast response boats, and one 110 foot patrol boat.
• Supervised the overhaul of 7 Detroit Diesel 6V-92 series engines, saving the Coast Guard over $175,000 in outside contracts.
• Supervised 18 scheduled engine change-outs, saving the Coast Guard $90,000 in outside contractor costs.
• Supervised 8 fleet wide engineering changes to the Coast Guards 47 foot Motor Life Boats.
RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:
• Cost Account Manager for $400,000 rotational inventory.
• Re-distributed $90,000 worth of additional parts within the Coast Guard infrastructure to better manage resource accountability and availability.
• Procured $10,000 of special tooling to resource out to outlying Coast Guard Units in order to save Government funds from being spent on contractor repairs.
• Professionally trained 8 engineering crews on proper maintenance and repair procedures saving the Coast Guard $50,000 in outside tradesmen expenses.

• Senior Technical Consultant for fleet wide engineering design/configuration control of 117 operation search and rescue vessels.
• Researched, developed and assisted in the configuration and commissioning of engineering design changes and operating procedures for a complex array of marine propulsion, auxiliary power and power train, electronic, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, oil and water piping and structural systems.
