Objective
Seeking a position and a challenging role as an engineer in a company where I can utilize my skills and experience to identify improvement opportunities resulting in increased profitability and enhanced growth for my employer.
Experience
Research Interests, Ocean Engineering, Florida Tech
o Collecting existing data on each ship where possible. A database will be established to include: ship dimensions, powering, initial sea trials power speed curves, present fuel consumption, present antifouling coating, dry dock cycles, operational cycles and geographic areas etc.
o Visual assessment of coating condition and fouling and hull roughness and coating thickness measurements.
o One ship will be selected for an intensive study that will quantify the performance (fuel consumption vs speed) with respect to the antifouling coating condition (roughness, fouling, damage etc.)

Skils
Research Assistant, Florida Institute of technology, Florida. (2005-2007)
o Developed and built a modern Hull scrubbing machine for monitoring the release of copper from the ship paints while cleaning the ship.
o Helped in conducting the experiments at sea using Hull drag meter to measure the drag for coatings on panels
o Currently working on hull condition monitoring for cruise ships and the effects of penalties caused by rough hulls
