Seeking a shore based job. My full life I have served for vessels either onboard or ashore starting from 1981 to till to date as a Chief Engineer, Consultant which includes various ships conversions, and a limited period as a Technical Superintendent
Experience
March 2000 - Present: For Marine Engineering Company MPE Sdn Bhd employed as Marine Consultant.
During this period:
For the local catamaran fast ferry owners: Ships management, in charge as new building consultant, and for the older vessels the modifications to class standard.
For BP Shipcare in Labuan Malaysia:
For the above mentioned company I have developed a maintenance program in EXCEL format.
Managed and conducted on BP shipping behalf (London/Labuan)all lay up and re-activation activities for: VLCC’s, FPSO’s, Drilling Barges, Diving Support-, Roll on / Roll off-, and Cable lay vessels.

Serving as Chief Engineer on the Seacor fleet.
1993 - 19 Dec. 1999 Smit International Singapore Pte. Ltd. / Singapore
During this time Chief Engineer on Smit fleet, offshore projects, dry dockings and monitoring ship conversions.

I started as a second Engineer and since 1981 Chief Engineer.
Experience during the employment of the above company broadened on all types of ships. Gained all kind of anchor handling, on- and offshore project, and salvage experiences.
1972 - 1976 Van Ommeren Shipping B.V. / Rotterdam (HOL)
Started as 5th Engineer, during this period experience was gained in oil tankers, liquid-and dry bulk carriers leaved the company as 4rd Engineer.
