? Mechanical Start-Up Engineer on over 15 unique power plants and propulsion systems. Responsible for main turbine and auxiliaries, feed water and condensate systems, main and process steam, and process control valves. Performed mechanical testing, troubleshooting, and tuning. Directed steam cycle chemical cleaning and steam blows. Involved in the entire overhaul of main and auxiliary diesel engines for ships main power and auxiliaries. Conducted weekly sampling of oils, water systems and fuel systems for proper operating parameters. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment. Engineer responsible for plant wastewater, room unit coolers, HVAC and plumbing systems. Performed functional testing on Emergency Diesel Generator and breaker systems. All inventory and functional parameters PC-sal based. Control room operated by independent interfaces directed through main frame controlled by engineer.
