RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS
? Managing a site providing maintenance and warranty services to over 220 wind turbines in Southern Alberta and Southern Saskatchewan. Soon after taking over this site management, I have made several improvements. Of worth mention are, considerable reduction in operating cost, reducing annual inventory variance from over -$100,000 down to +$3,000 in one year, and making all the technicians totally self reliant on all documentation work in computers.
? Managed a team of technicians and engineers providing maintenance solutions to petrochemical industry in Singapore (Lonza Singapore, Van Ommeran Tank Terminals, Croda Singapore, Chevron lube blending plant, Schering Plough, Oil tanking Singapore, Teijin Polycarbonates Singapore, and several other smaller chemical plants.
? Provided consultancy to CRODA Singapore to plan and implement Condition based maintenance system, using vibration monitoring and oil analysis. Provided also data entry and system start up using client’s CMMS (ENGICA). Trained client’s personnel to use the system. The plant, which has been seeing frequent breakdowns, saw zero breakdowns after about a year after implementation.
? Solved major problems with Crude oil pumps (bearings and mechanical seals) on board the Kome Kribi – 1, offshore Cameroon using local semi skilled workforce. These are huge pumps of 3000 cbm/hour capacity and this job is actually to be carried out in the shipyard where all facilities are available to repair such large pumps.
? Worked as a project superintendent in the conversion project of a ULCC to an FSO (Kome Kribi – 1) for EXXON MOBIL. Working for MODEC, I was involved in construction and commissioning of several subsystems in that project. Worked as a Turnover Superintendent in this project.
