I am seeking a full time technical or management position in the marine or oil industry working with mechanical and hydraulic systems or as a boat captain of 100 ton capacity.
Experience
2001 to 2011 Pro-Tech Owner
Pro-Tech has been a multi service company that has offered a number of different services as the economic conditions have changed. It was started and continues as an erosion control company offering hydroseeding, geotextile installation and slope stabilization products and installation.
Pro-Tech also offers custom metal fabrication and shop services for the general repair of trucks and equipment along with on site fleet service for truck tires.
Our company has expanded and contracted over the last ten years and I have been centrally involved in all aspects of providing services and company management.
2004-2008 Smith Enterprises / Slidell Landfill / Coastal Waste Services
I and my company Pro-Tech were contracted exclusively with this consortium of companies owned by the Smith family to provided property management services for the families five estates totaling over 5000 acres, maintenance of a
personal fleet of 32 on and off road vehicles including boats from 19’ to 75’ in length.
I managed a crew of 6 people to handle the above property maintenance duties while running the repair facility for the Slidell Landfill’s heavy equipment mostly Komatsu and Cat equipment and CWS fleet of 48 residential and commercial garbage trucks. The fleet service shop had 8 employees, the landfill site/shop had 12 employees.
Hurricane Katrina put 14’ of water in our shops and landfill. It was my responsibility to over see the rebuild of our me-chanical support infrastructure while keeping up with site management required to process over 100,000 cubic yards of storm debris being hauled onto our site daily.
I was also responsible for the management and scheduling of 5 full time subcontracting companies that were involved in specific scopes of work in conjunction with the property maintenance.
1998 to 2001 Big Wave International Production Manager
Big Wave International supplied large format entertainment systems for corporate events with attendances up to 35,000 people.
As production manager I was responsible for system design in order to achieve event planner and clients visions.
Source needed equipment from multiple rental facilities in order to fulfill system requirements
Organize transportation and on site logistics for set up and tear down of packaged shows typically requiring 15 to 20 temporary on site personnel.
Operation of systems during course of shows.
Maintenance and service of in house equipment.
Evaluate new equipment for company purchase’s
Over see fleet maintenance of 12 trucks.
1996 to 1998 Concert Staging Systems rigging/staging set construction
CSS was one of the top 3 staging companies in the united states.
I was responsible for designing, packing, and installing rigging packages for sound and light systems to be used in port-able and stationary roof systems across the East Coast.
I also was in charge of custom set constructions working with design sketches and fabricating portable set structures per clients request
.1993 to 1996 Technical Support Services monitor engineer / sales
TSS was the fourth largest concert sound system provider in New England.
My duties were pre production bidding in fulfilling technical riders provided by promoters and talent.
I was the onsite monitor engineer and production manager working with local crews during set up and tear down of au-dio systems and the operation of said systems during the performance of shows.
1989 to 1993 Pro-Motion Entertainment Owner
I established a successful disc jockey and karaoke service that expanded into live sound reinforcement and club installa-tion sales and service over a 4 year period.
I sold the company in order to step up into much larger sized shows and for the opportunity to work with international talent.

I have a full working knowledge of the principles involved in mechanical and hydraulic systems with extensive hands on experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and marine related equipment.
I have extensive experience with the troubleshooting and repair of internal combustion engines both
diesel and gasoline.
I have a good working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and electromechanical systems.
I also posses very good skills in metal fabrication and prototyping for condition specific needs.
I have completed all necessary training and have submitted an application to the USCG for a 100 ton captains license which should be approved within the next 60 days
I am the “go too” type of person a company needs when there is a problem that requires a solution from a person that can think outside of the box.
When working with mechanical systems my memory is photographic and I rarely need to see it more than once to understand and trouble shoot it.
Creation, Construction, and implementation of unique systems is something I thrive at.
I currently hold one US patent, and have two more US patents under review.
