Project: General Cargo Carrier



Client Region : Netherlands

Duration : 4 months

Location : Pune

Software : Tribon, AutoCAD



Project Summary:



The project work involved was modeling of fourteen Blocks of the ship and generation of system level piping layout according to P& ID, Modeling and drawing creation of system wise equipments.



A team of twelve members were involved in smooth running of the project in order to achieve on time delivery.



Responsibilities:



? Hull modeling using planar hull module for four blocks in forward portion of the ship.

? Generating their production information and drawings.

? Generating their plate nesting sketches.



Project: Bulk Carrier



Client Region : Spain

Duration : February2008 to May2008 (Onsite Deputation)

May2008 to October2008 (Pune)



Location : Seville (Spain), Pune.

Software : Tribon, Bentley view, Python.



Project Summary:



The project work involved was modeling of 6 blocks and generating their plate nesting sketches.



A team of three members were involved in smooth running of project in order to achieve on time delivery.



Responsibilities:



? Understanding the yard standards of four major shipyards Odense, Western, Loksa, and Baltija.

? Understanding the European standards in ship modeling.

? Understanding the Cutting machines and their cutting sequence.

? To deal with the latest applications used in hull modeling.

? Assigned to train three new comers in Tribon modeling and nesting.



Project: Patrol Vessel



Client Region : USA

Duration : 7 months

Location : Pune

Software : Tribon M3, AutoCAD.



Project Summary:



The project work involved was Planar and Curved hull modeling, Production drawing creation, Plate nesting, Pipe modeling, Volume creation, Spool drawing creation, Cable modeling, HVAC, Structure modeling.



A team of fourteen members were involved in smooth running of project in order to achieve on time delivery.



Responsibilities:



? Hull modeling, creating production drawings and Nesting sketches for three blocks, above the keel.

? To help client in preparing their own Yard standards, according to ABS rules.

? Pipe modeling for three systems (Air vent and sounding, Lube oil system, CO2 system)

? Cable modeling for accommodation.

Responsibility:



To provide Pre and Post - sales Technical support (Design), Training and consultancy services on Aveva products (Tribon M3 and Aveva Marine -12) to Aveva customers and Marine prospects for South East Asia 2 / India.



Academy of Maritime Education and Training:



• Undergone Training for Aveva Marine-12 SP4 in all Hull Modules and Initial Design for 20 days.

• Helped me analyze the migration from Tribon M3 to AM12.



Indian Maritime University:



• Given Training for M.Tech – Naval Architects in all modules of Tribon Initial Design, Hull, Hull Manager and System Admin from Oct 11th 2010 – Nov 20th 2010.



AP Internal Training: Korea (Onsite)



This was an Internal Training on Programmable Macro Language – PML for AvevaMarine-12 attended by all Hull Managers from Asia pacific.



Able to Create or edit Macros for all Hull based Explorers.



PML Hull Basic:



• PML Basic expression

• Hull Data extraction using PML

• PML Form (GUI) handling

• PML Add-ins



PML Hull Advanced:



• Hull Advanced data extraction using PML

• Advanced Form(GUI) handling with exercise

• PML.net and usage

Education


• Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology (B.I.T), Mesra, Ranchi, With 67.4%.



• HSC from S.R.V, Rasipuram, Tamil Nadu with 76.33% in 2003.



• SSC from Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Gurukulam, Ulundurpet with 89.27% in 2001.



• Proficiency in Science and English during SSC Public Examination.



• Worked as an Assistant Engineer for about 3 months in Chennai port, under four tugs.

• Handled two systems and their pipeline routing, when ship in campus was formulated under DG shipping rules, inside the college campus.
