Position: Sr. Service engineer
Company & Location: Elektronik lab at Vishakapatnam
Responsibilities: Supervision, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting equipment using various power meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes and volt/ohm meter of Communication, Navigation equipments etc at onboard and offshore rigs.
Provides feedback to Engineers and Manufacturers, to contribute the continuous improvement of manufactured equipment and test procedures.
Communication: Installation, Maintenance, Trouble Shooting and Servicing of Radio equipments (SSB, VHF, UHF) Inmarsat terminals (C, B, M), SSAS, FLEET 33, 77, FLEET Broad Band, SAT TV, VSAT, GMDSS POWER supplies, Battery Less Telephone, EPBX, PA Systems,
Navigation: Installation, Maintenance, Trouble Shooting and Servicing and interfacing of RADAR S&X Band, NDP(Non Direction Beacon), GYRO, LOG, GPS, DGPS, EOT, AUTO PILOT.
Others: . Integrated Bridge console system (KH), SVDR, VDR, AIS, SSAS, VTS, Nautical Alarms, Watch Alarms, CCTV, EPIRB (Emergency Position Indication Radio Bacon), SART (Search and Rescue Transponder). HNCVT Certificate course on Industrial Electronics at Advance Training Institute for Electronics and Processing Instrumentation at Rmanthapur, Hyderabad, A.P, from October 1999 to August 2000.
And also under gone Implant Training on Processing & Control system, Applied electronic and Maintenance of switch yard, in NTPC (Ramagundam Thermal Power Plant at Ramagundam, A.P.
