Experience


My experience includes the operation, maintenance and overhauling of various ship/shore based power plants and auxiliary/control systems.I maintenance and do tests on diesel generators.

2009 – 2011 Electrical Engineer of Quality Assurance Department – "Israel Shipyards Ltd", Israel

Quality control and handing-over of the vessels electrical/electromechanical systems works for register surveyors (Germanisher Lloyd's, Lloyd's Register).

Administrate of certificate system for current projects.

Creation of equipment test procedures, carring out ones during Harbour Acceptance Tests/Sea Trials in accordance with standards and rules. Revision drawings of Shipyards Engineering Department, implementation of the electric/control systems for various types vessels (include OPVs, speed crafts, bulk carriers).

2003 – 2009 Electrical Engineer – "Nika Engineering Ltd", Israel

Design, calculations, inspection and maintenance of wharfs ICCP and SACP inside Oil/Israel Shipyard/Naval Haifa Port, Ashdod Port.

Design, calculations, inspection and maintenance of groundings, lightning protection in/outside varies Explosive/Fire zones inside Gas Delivery Stations (PRMS)/Oil Refinery Plants/Hospitals.

Inspection and quality control of coatings, thickness of galvanization and paintings by means NDT methods.

1998 – 2001 Head of Electrophysical Department – "Osmos Ltd", RF

Design, installation, maintenance equipment inside HV Power Substations.

1994 – 1998 Electrical Engineer – "Oy Osmos-Technology Ltd", Finland, USA

Design, installation, maintenance ship/vessels ICCP, underwater power cables ICCP. Development, maintenance ship system/devices for decreasing outer ULF/ELF EMF and DC radiation, protection ship hulls from contact/bimetallic corrosion. Maintenance AC-DC power converters (switch and thyristor types). Design acoustic and EM devices for NDT control, flow/volume-measuring onboard apparatus.

1992 – 1993 Electrical Engineer – "HVDC Power Transmission Research Institute”, RF

Design, installation, inspection and maintenance of sea bottom/underground High Voltage Power System Groundings and Power HV Cables.

1989 – 1992 Electromechanical Engineer – "Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute", USSR

Calculation, design, maintenance ships/vessels Power, Distribtion, CP Systems. Design, manufacturing of highly sensitive, noise proof devices for ELF/ULF antennas for measurement and registration of EMF of ships and submersible objects.
