Experience


I started my carear as an electrician in the Indian navy in 1987.After completing a 12 months electrical course,I worked onboard naval ship for the next 4 years.After further 6 months advanced course I carried on woking in a Wireless Transmitting station and another naval ship for the remaning years in the navy.I left navy after 15 yeras as a petty officer in 2002.After leaving navy I came to England in 2002.Since comin to UK I have been working as a marine electrician for the ministry of defence.In between I worked for US army Combat Equipment Unit Hythe in Southampton for 18 months.As a marine electrician i am capable of working on switch boards,various types starters,airconditioning plants,coversion machinaries,navigational equipments, etc.


Education


After finishing my 12th I joined navy.My electrical courses were done in INS Valsura, Jamnagar,India.I have done the electrical installation course( City&Guilds)from Institute of London in 2006.

Excellent knowledge and experience in power generation and distribution systems onboard ships.

Excellent knowledge of 400/440V,3 phase 50/60 HZ power distribution systems.

Capable of installing, testing and repairing various types of switch gears.

Capable of installing, testing and reparing Direct on starters, Star Delta starters and Auto Transformer starters.

Experience in working on Airconditoning plants and Referigeration plants.

Experience in maintenance of navigational equipments,communication systems and entertainment systems.

Excellent understanding of electrical drawings.
