Experience


Retired U.S. Navy as Electrician's Mate for 20 years. Responsible for operation, maintenance and troubleshooting various electrical equipment onboard vessels. Performed preventive and corrective maintenance of ship from steam to diesel propulsion.


Education


Received diploma on residential Electrician course with Thompson Education Direct. Received certificate on Automotive Electronics Course with Cleveland Institute of Electronics. Received various training and schools from U.S. Navy which include Electrician's Mate "A" school, Advance Electrician's Mate "C7" school, Motor Rewind, 400 HZ Generators, UNREP Denison, Catapult Electrical, Cargo Weapons Elevator, Calibration, Quality Assurance and hands on training at shipyard facilities on shore power plug fabrication.


Certification


USCG endorsement as Electrician, Completed USCG certification from Basic Firefighting, Helo Firefighting, Survival, First Aid, Level 1 Brief (Anti-Terrorism), NAVOSH, CBR Defense, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities etc.


Skils


Troubleshooting faulty shipboard electrical equipment, proficient in reading electrical blueprints and diagrams.


 


Been employed by Military Sealift Command as Wiper. Worked as Electrician in 5 different Navy ships.
