Integrated the PLC controlled Integrated Control and Monitoring System for USACE dredging vessel at Cascade Shipyard Portland Oregon. Took part in planning, designing and implementing the project in phases. Supervised hook up , installation and commissioning of the system at the yard.
? Prepared detailed rip out plan for the existing system keeping in view, to reuse the existed panels, relays and cables resulting in at least a 30 percent gain in installation expense.
? Prepared mimic screens for all ship's systems for remote operations from work stations.
? Prepared diagrams of power to the PLC controlled Valves and Motor control centers.
? Prepared one line functional diagrams showing location of Remote Input/Output boxes, cable connections and its routing to facilitate shortest route to cables and nearest locations for I/O pick ups.
? Prepared point to point terminating list for hook up of the system.
? Submitted documents for approval from ABS and USCG.
? Supported installation and commissioning at the shipyard.
? Provided Technical Guidance for warranty support.
