Experience
Twelve Years of Practical/Work Experience in the field of Electrical Engineering on board Indian Naval ships. This includes expertise in fault findings and analysis, Installation Inspection, Setting to work and testing tuning of electrical and electronic equipments. Defect Identification & Rectification on Electrical/Electronic systems with drawing and documentation, Planned and Preventive Maintenance and corrective action, breakdown and condition based maintenance and upkeep of records and parameters, technical Inventory management and special inventory procurement Management of spare parts.
Power generation, distribution and management - Various types generator and associated electrical controls distribution system, ac and dc motors, Transformers, Winches ,Crain, Electronic/Magnetic AVRS, starters, main and auxiliary Switch board monitoring, Rectifiers, Lead acid batteries, hello starting rectifiers, Electro hydraulic system, Electro pneumatic system, Ac & Ref. Plants and domestic equipments.
Control system- Maintenance and repair of various types of Gyro and Naiv-aids system steering system, Missile fire control system, gun fire control system, All engine and diesel generator controls, Automatic fire fighting and sprinkling system for armament storage compartments of onboard ships and hydraulic equipment on board ships.
Instrumentation duties- Experience on imparting theoretical and practical training on board ship to Indian and foreign trainees.
Damage control and fire fighting- Practical experience in operation of various types of damage control and fire fighting equipments. Able to guide, organize and lead a team for fighting different types of fire in a professional manner.
