Job Outline: Sailed as a Deck Cadet with Denholm Ship Mgmt Ltd. During this period served on three different types of ships namely Product Tanker, Bulk Carrier and Container Ship (3850 TEU). Attended dry-docking of the Product Tanker.
2001 - 2003
Job Outline: Sailed as a Third officer with Seaarland Ship Mgmt Ltd. During this period served on two Product Tankers and took a yard delivery of an 115000 tonne DWT Crude Oil Tanker. Attended dry-docking on one of the Product Tanker. During this period prepared for several Oil Major Inspections and PSC Inspections.
2004
Job Outline: Sailed as a Second officer with Great Eastern Shipping Ltd on a Product Tanker on Coastal Trade carrying Black Oils.
2005
Job Outline: Sailed as a Chief Officer with Great Eastern Shipping Ltd on a Product Tanker. During this period prepared for several Oil Major Inspections and PSC Inspections. There were no contamination or shortage claims during this tenure.
2006
Job Outline: Sailed as a Chief Officer with Seaarland Ship Mgmt Ltd on a Product Tanker. During this period prepared for several Oil Major Inspections and PSC Inspections. There were no contamination or shortage claims during this tenure. Carried heated cargoes such as LSWR in extreme winter conditions.
2007 - 2008
Job Outline: Sailed as a Master with Fleet Management Ltd (Hong Kong) on a Chemical Tanker (Type II). During the tenure onboard vessel called over 30 ports in the Far East and US/Canada. Annual USCG Inspection was carried out when in Command and the vessel cleared without any deficiencies. Vessel also passed various PSC inspections without any deficiencies. There were no accidents, cargo claims or damage to hull or machinery when in Command.
SHORE BASED EXPERIENCE
2004 - 2006
Job Outline: Carried out various marine surveys under the supervision of a senior surveyor for M/S Subhash Chander & Associates. Familiar with Reporting Formats such as Common Marine Inspection Document and other Checklists such the Shell Brunei Petroleum Form for inspection of Offshore Vessels.
2006 - 2008
Job Outline: Carried out various independent surveys for M/S Subhash Chander & Associates which include:
• Survey for loss of anchor on “M.V X-Press Resolve” at Chittagoan.
• Pre Insurance Condition and Valuation surveys for “M.V Ramchandra” I, II, III & IV
• Grounding damage on “M.V Kamla” at Mumbai.
• Contact and grounding damage to “M.V Kalpana” at Belekeri port
• Collision damage to M.V Harrier during lighterage operation at Hazira anchorage.
Worked as a Marine Consultant with a team of Salvors for refloating the forward section of M.V Ocean Serayas which is wrecked off Karwar.
Delivered a lecture on Maritime Law and Charter Parties at BP Marine Academy for Diploma in Nautical Science students.
Carried out a suitability survey under the supervision of a senior surveyor for Accommodation cum Crane barge “Sea Patriot” on Shell Brunei Petroleum Form.
Carried out towage approval for Pipe laying Barge Mahesh I in accordance with IMO Guidelines for Safe Ocean Towing, for towage from Mumbai to Batam.
Carried out Pre-Purchase Valuation of Cutter Suction Dredger “Xing Yu Jun 6”.
