Serving on ocean going vessels as Chief Engineer officer since 2nd. March,2009 holding the overall responsibilities of vessels related with technical matters and maintain the machineries on board as per company requirements and policy.



Plant Manager (1st . November,2007 to 30th. October,2008)

Served at Bangladesh Steel Re-rolling Mills as Plant Manager since 1st November’2007.



KEY TASK: In charge of All Production Department,

Ensure Raw materials Procurements as per production schedule,

Arrange and Ensure delivery of the Finished Products as per customer’s requirements as well as management of Maintenance department.



Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (15th. February ‘2007 to 24th. October’2007)

Working as Second Engineer on Boardship of ocean going vessel at Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, BSC. Chittagong



Senior Production Manager, Berger Paints (BD) Ltd(28th. June, 2001- 29th.April, 2006.)

Served as Senior Production Manager in Berger Paints (BD) Ltd. at Chittagong Factory.



KEY TASK: In charge of

All Production Department,

Ensure Raw materials Procurements as per production schedule ,

Fulltime communication with Sales and Depots

Arrange service to sales on priority as per customer’s requirements.

And Ensure delivery of the Finished Products.

as well as management of Administration & Maintenance department .



Working as Second Engineer (From Novembe’1998-February,2001)



Working as Second Engineer on Boardship of ocean going vessel under NYK a class of Japanese Ship Surveyor under the management of Wallem Shipping Management, Hong Kong.

And in between November1998 to December’2000 worked as second engineer into different shipping lines like HRC Shipping lines, Sany Marine Ltd(Singapore) .



Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (October 1990 - October 1998)

Joined Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, a class of Lloyd's Register of shipping on 4th October 1990 and sailed as Marine Engineer Officer on different ocean going vessel of this corporation and now sailing as Second Engineer Officer.



KEY TASK : In-charge of repair and maintenance, fault finding of all types of machinery onboard ship, e.g. Main propulsion unit, Generator, Boiler, A/C & Refrigeration Plant and Deck machineries, Automation system, Electro-hydraulic system etc.

Responsible for requisition, receiving and storing of all engine stores, spares, paints, chemicals, gases and lubricants.



Prepare the maintenance schedule and distribute the jobs among the Engine personnel and preserve the reports.

1) ACADEMIC:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Dhaka

Year of passing : January 1990 Duration : 4 (four) years.

Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) Examination passed in 1983,Comilla Board, Bangladesh, Obtained First Division.

Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) examination passed in 1981 Comilla Board, Bangladesh, Obtained First Division.



2) PROFESSIONAL:

Marine Engineering Certificate of Competency Class-I (Motor) issued by the Department of Shipping, Dhaka, under Government of Bangladesh.

01. A two days Course on SIX SIGMA SIMPLIFIED , A Course On Quality Products & Service , held on 8th &9th. July 2004, Organized by Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), Singapore.

02. A Professional Training Programme on Risk Assessment & Safety Management held on 25th. August, 2001 organized by TACK Training International.

03. A 3-day Workshop on Training of the Trainer, held on October 20-22, 2001 organized by Stampford College Group, Bangladesh.

04. A Workshop on ENERGY MANAGEMENT IN INDUSTRIAL PRACTICE held on the 17th-18th. February, 2002 at Dhaka, organized by Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce And Industry, Dhaka.

05. A 60 hrs Foundation Course on Computer Operation, held on 10th. May 2002 by APTECH Computer Education at Chittagong.



a) Fire Fighting Training Course :

Certificate approved by the Department of Transport, United Kingdom and satisfies the relevant IMO-STCW convention requirements in IMO (International Maritime Organization) regulation. This course provides the knowledge for fire fighting on different environment as well as safety of the industries and vessels on sea which includes the restriction & prevention of fire and extinguish of all types of fire and also to rescue casualties under any circumstances in case of any accident as well as covers installation, operation and maintenance of all types of portable and fire fighting equipment's.

Portable type includes Dry powder, foam, Co2, soda acid and

Fixed Type includes Co2, High-pressure water spray system, Sprinkler system, Foam system, Pressurized water hoses (Jet, spray & combined).



b) First Aid Training Course :

This course provides the first aid medical knowledge for handling of casualties under any circumstances in case of any accident on emergency.

This certificate is issued by a branch of the World Maritime University for one week on "December 1991, under the Government of Bangladesh.



c) Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boat :

"May 1998" Two week's, course on Certificate in Proficiency in Survival Craft (C.P.S.C) issued by Marine Academy, a branch of World Maritime University under the Government of Bangladesh.

This course covers the operation & maintenance of various survival craft & emergency equipment's on board ship.



d) Industrial Training

Three Weeks training in Osmania Glass sheet factory, a unit of BCIC, Bangladesh.

e) Workshop training

Two months workshop training especially in machine tools operation and welding at Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (B.S.C.) Marine Conveyer Workshop, Saltgola, Chittagong
