Job Responsibilities:
? Establishing the division as a profit centre, with a focus on being a Prime Dredging & Marine company in UAE.
? Development of client base for dredger purchase, lessee.
? Development of the division for allocation of Dredging & Marine contracts within the Middle East.
? Plan, prioritize and direct the daily sales team activities.
? Continuously train, motivate, counsel, and monitor their performance.
? Conduct, Execute, and Implement divisional set strategies to achieve growth objectives and enhance overall team achievements. Forecast and manage Annual Business/Operating Plans to achieve company targets.
? Conduct continuous customer field visits and enhance Market/territory coverage according to an agreed market development strategy.
? Prepare management reports, market analysis and performance reviews.
? Execute strategic selling activities & SWOT analysis for key accounts and deals.
? Maintain, develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
? Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, eg., product launches, promotions, seminars, advertising, & exhibitions.
? To regularly review financial results and budgets, as well as ensure proper collection of receivables & debtor days and take corrective action where feasible to improve performance.
? Technical consultancy with relation to dredging & marine contracts.
? Presentations to high profile decision makers of business houses.
? Closing deals with relation to supply of dredgers , dredging and marine contracts
? Coordinate design, engineering parameters with principals, suggest modifications as per site conditions.
? Decisions with regard to purchase from local and international suppliers.
? Pricing tenders for various dredging contract jobs within the Middle East
? Recruitment of technical, administrative, sales and support staff for the division.
? Supervise Cash flow against each job based on a minimum GP of 25%.
? Initialize ISO certification process under DNV and take RINA Class Certification by end 2008.
