Communications Workshop Manager / Project Manager
Provide the day to day management and full ownership of the PSG communications workshop repair & maintenance services for the Presidential Special Guard, INJAZ Project (under the UAE Military). Provide the first point of contact for the PSG Officer and vendors relating to any operational issues that are encountered. Monitors and reports Service Levels and responsible for ensuring the contractual SLA’s are met. Identify and develop all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and work with PSG to ensure alignment with current and future PSG process and procedure requirements. Design preventative maintenance programs. Liaise with the PSG Officer on a daily basis. Manage PSG workshop team recruitment and coordinate mobilization and exit. Manage training for all new and existing personnel. Provide agreed scheduled reporting demonstrating performance to manage KPI’s. Manage risk assessment and ensure adherence to safety regulations. First point of contact for all QHSE related matters. Maintain customer satisfaction & profitability. Carry out continual service improvement assessment and implement agreed changes to processes. Administration of PSG workshop services and act as interface with HR and Finance departments. Responsible for all procurement duties for workshop. Raise PO’s and Invoices as required. Hold regular staff meetings. Responsible for negotiation of maintenance contracts and management of contractors.

Manage all daily operations for a Maritime Satellite & Bridge Communications service company, including Staff Supervision, Sales, Accounting, Service Operations and Payroll. Coordinate service, repair and installation assignments for technician’s jobs onboard vessels, ranging from VDR/SVDR, LRIT, SSAS, AIS, VSAT, Fleet Broadband, MF/HF/UHF/VHF radios systems, etc. Conducted training and scheduled all annual certification for technicians while keeping records and copies. Provide 24/7 systems support for shipboard installations. Coordinate job assignments, tools, spares, visas and travel arrangements for field engineers.
