i) MANAGER - SALES & MARKETING / SERVICE :
Company : Ashapura Marinetech International, Kandla Port (India) Since July 2000 – till date. Marketing of services provided by our company. Day to day activities concerning the smooth operation of company. Continuously putting efforts with a team of Sales staff to increase the customer database. Also keeping an eye and make sure that the process of enquiry generation to follow up from both customer and supplier is done smoothly till the order is placed and carried out successfully implemented. Always in co-ordination with service deptt. to ensure the services are provided as agreed and to the customer satisfaction. Had assisted and now carrying independently Ship Safety Radio surveys (GMDSS) for the following classifications :
Lloyds register of Asia(LRS), Bureau Veritas (BV), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), RINA, HRS, IRS, INSB etc.
Had also done Annual Inspection & testing of EPIRB,s in workshop as well as onboard Vessel, Programming of EPIRB’s, VHF/DSC’s, MF/HF, SAT-C. Also have experience of Installation, servicing & repairing of the above mentioned equipments along with Automatic identification System(AIS), Programming of Ships Security Alert System(SSAS).
Sales Engineer : Kanoo Group of Companies (KCD); from March 1996 to June- 2000. Involved in sales and marketing of Communication equipments i.e, VHF, UHF etc., Structured cabling products, Fiber Optics Test & Measurement equipments etc.
