A semi government organization dealing in all activities of a Port with a fleet of their own vessels and fully equipped Ship Repairs and Maintenance division.
Responsibilities include marketing (locally & internationally), business development and all commercial functions for the Port and Repair division. Developing the port in terms of infra-structure, expansion, modernization and safety. Supervising the team for new business opportunities and increase in clientele & revenue. Approving tenders, bids and quotes for securing contracts, invoicing, project feasibility studies, monitoring, coordination & administration of projects and contracts for port and ship-repairs. Preparation of business plans, chartering of own vessels and chartering vessels from outside to fulfill the contractual quantities, procurements, publicity and promotions. Captured market-leading dominance (market share gains of up to 60%) for both the port as well as repair services in the region.
