Experience
Maintenance
1.Prepare and implement a planned preventive maintenance program for tugs,and all other mechanical equipment.
2.Prepare and implement an annual overhaul program for tug engines ,hull and superstructure.
3.Inspect and service tugs and all other mechanical equipment in accordance with the planned preventative maintenance program
4.Prepare and maintian weekly records of tug opreation,running time and maintenance service check carried out in the established forms.
5.Monitor the captian log and engineers log for each tug in conformity with the standard established schedule.
6.Review the tug engineers log sheet before and after each routine voyage.
7.Maintian the tug engine hours register for each voyage.
8.Review weekly report on the fuel and oil (PFOG) consumption for each tug.
9Prepare and implement a maintenance program for the overhaul and servicing of pumps and engines for all molasses Barges.
Genral
1. Initiate purchase requests for materials and spares required by the maintenance program.
2.Recieve all materials purchased and submit related docmunts to accounts.
3.Approve storee requisitions for store materials for the maintenance program.
4.Recommend the stores max/min values for spares required for the maintenance program.
5. Provide for the adequate supply of tools required by the maintenance program
6.Supervise the hourly and and contracted personel employed in carring out the maintenance program.
7.Perpare Allocation sheet for payroll purposes.
8.Ensure the safety of plant equipment and personnel at all times.
