Captain of private motor yacht located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Responsible for complete maintenance and up keep of 59’ Marquis.



Capt. Marty Yacht Services, LLC, Self-Employed March 2000 - Present

Water Delivery of motor yachts, sea trials, yacht maintenance, engine start-ups, private charters and dolphin encounter programs for disabled youths.



Tidewater Marine October 1997 - February 2000

Captain on a 110’ Crew boat responsible for passengers and cargo on a 24-hour basis from shore to the oil fields in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsible for weekly on-board Safety meetings, maintenance of four 671 Detroit’s engines, painting, six-man crew, changing fuel & oil filters. Assisted engineer with injector bleeding and bilge pump repairs, some trouble shooting and fire system up-dates. Knowledge of electronics, Coast Guard inspections and radar certified.



Florida Offshore

May 1996 - October 1997

52’ Eco-snorkel Tour Boat Captain in Panama City Beach, Florida. Daily snorkel trips to local reefs and dolphin encounters in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsible for safety of passengers & crew, general maintenance of vessel; oil changes, fuel filters, bilge pumps, prop changes. Fixed hydraulics steering often, maintained batteries. Off season yard work; bottom paint, fasten loose seats to deck and general repairs.



Aqua World

August 1995 - May 1996

Captain of 60’ custom made party barge aimed at Family Entertainment and Fun in the Sun. Water Sports in Key Largo, Florida. Responsible for safety for all passengers and crew, up keep of party barge, engine room, changing oil & fuel filters, changing oils (twin3)



70’ Hatteras

February 1994 - August 1995

Captain of a private 70’ Hatteras with cockpit (one of three made not extended) out of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Matanzas Pass. Responsible for vessel general wash & detail, maintenance, including fuel oil changes, fuel filters, osmosis system, ice machine, fire system kept current. Duties also included vessel documentation and vessel travel itinerary. Responsible for safety of owners and guests.



Hurricane Fleet

July 1992 - January 1994

Captain of a 60’custom dinner Boat out of North Myrtle Beach and Little River Inlet S.C. Responsibilities include fueling, oil changes, cleaning and painting bilges, Coast Guard inspections, bilge pumps, crew schedule, passenger manifest & safety.
