-T.S. Enterprise Two month freshmen training cruise on this steam ship.
-U.S.N.S Dahl Two month experience as a cadet on this gas turbine ship. Sailed for a portion of time and also worked on the ship in dry dock. Received the highest possible review from the chief engineer
-LNG/C Suez Matthew Two month experience as a cadet onboard this LNG steam ship. Gained much steam turbine and boiler operation skills running LNG from Trinidad to Boston, MA. Received an outstanding review from the chief engineer
-T.S. Kennedy Two month senior training cruise as the Cadet Chief Engineer. Gained much leadership, management, and people skills overseeing the watch, training, and maintenance schedules of 66 fellow seniors, 90 sophomores, and 300 freshmen
-General Electric Aviation- Production Manager for a production line; responsible for the safety, moral, and well being of 17 men and their machinery on my shift both motivating them to excel in productivity; reporting directly to the plant manger on safety, quality, efficiency, and output
Education
-Massachusetts Maritime Academy marine engineering major with a cumulative GPA of 3.6
-Exclusive coursework outside of the required curriculum includes classes in Supervisory Management, Calculus III, and Instrumentation and Control

-Appointed Cadet Chief Engineer for the 2009-2010 school year and 2010 Training Cruise; the highest ranking engineer of the 2010 class; responsible for the oversight of all engineering aspects and tasks aboard the T.S. Kennedy for the school year and training cruise, working both with the ship’s licensed engineers and cadet engineers
-Elected Cadet Trustee of Massachusetts Maritime Academy as a sophomore for the 2008-2009 academic year; responsible for sitting on the Board of Trustees, providing input and advice to improve student life/academics, and speaking the voice of the entire student body of the academy
-Selected as an Orientation Training and Retentions Squad Leader for 4th Company for the 2008- 2009 academic year, responsible for the well-being, upkeep of morale, and the training and drilling of maritime customs and traditions of a platoon of 40 freshmen
