Duties –

- Operates various heavy and light equipment in the maintenance and new construction of city projects such as preparing/paving/patching streets and parking lots, blading roads and ditches, removing and/or installing culvert, clearing weeds of road side, flattening dump piles at sweeper dump sites; removing curbs, gutters, sidewalks and concrete structures.
- Performs asphalt work including subgrade preparation, road base installation and paving.

- Fills supply requisitions; assists buyer to order adequate merchandise and supplies; delivers orders to faculty and staff.
- Ships canceled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate.
- Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
