I would like to work on a crew. supply, or tug vessel out of the Galveston/Houston/Freeport/ Port Arthur area.
Experience
I was a Ferryboat deckhand w/AB serving as the number 1. I have approx. 5 ½ years experience on TX DOT ferryboats & training of the methods & procedures used in the maintenance & repair of marine equipment, machinery, facilities, of ferryboats.

Texas A&M, Brian College Station, TX– FOR Fire Fighting, Helicopter Safety & Egress Course, Sea Survival, Social Responsibility, Personal Safety, First Aide & CPR.
Lafourche Merchant Marine Services in Raceland, LA. - Radar Observer Unlimited.
TXDOT Schools on safety, man overboard, abandon ship, blood pathogens, fire extinguishers, and seamanship, etc.

Skils
Former Ferryboat deckhand w/AB serving as the number 1, with 5 ½ years experience on TX DOT ferryboats out of Galveston TX. I would lead, train, monitor, and assign work to others on a daily basis. Maintained effective working relationships & communicate effectively with co-workers & groups. Daily duties included training OS’s, navigating/driving, launching, and docking the ferryboat vessel. Conducted safety classes for our crew, completed the daily log book, while acting as #1, and have performed the daily safety check list. I would lead, train, monitor, and assign work to others on a daily basis.
