Safe handling of various hazardous potential contents likes H2S gas/liquid, Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Acids, Alkalis and steam at different phases during operation.
Ensuring the Safe work atmosphere for all operational/maintenance activities especially in toxic atmospheres.
Implementation, clearance & preparation of Work Permit Systems, safe work procedures/instructions for safe execution of hot works and Confined Space works.
Up-keeping of Breathing Air cascade System consisting of 300 “Sabre & MSA” makes BA Sets, breathing Air shelters to cater 200 employees to meet accidental release of H2S gas.
Operation & maintenance of 2 High Pressure 4 stage Compressors (BAUER make) & ensure the Breathing Air quality free from contaminants like CO, CO2, and Oil & Humidity.
Familiar with air quality testing procedures
Monitoring of H2S gas release through 8 fixed H2S gas detectors in different locations.
Imparting of safety training & refresher training to all regular and Contract employees.
Procurement of Safety Equipment.
Monitoring of Fire fighting equipments/installations to maintain in poise state.
Conducting emergencies exercise, Fire fighting training
Participate in leak survey & conducting safe work review viz., Plant Safety Review Committee, emergency preparedness plans, Accident Investigation, Emergency Response etc & ISO & OHSAS Documentation for safe operation & maintenance.
