Responsibilities:
- prevent accident at work.
• Attended the basic studies, construction (civil, mechanical works…etc.), the pre-commissioning and commissioning also start up of all units at the refinery.
• Performing critical hazard studies "HAZOP, HAZAN,RISK ANALYSIS •
• Hand over the automatic detection and firefighting systems at units, buildings and following the maintenance activities.
• Managing the emergency plane of the refinery.
? Supervised a special lifting activities: erection of a vacuum tower 450 tons 45 height, a reactor 400ton with a 54 meter height with a 1000 tons crane.
-Specifying the personal protective equipment according to the international standards.
• Following up all maintenance activities.
- Aware of the safety international codes like NFPA, API, OSHA, ANSI. And how to follow.
- Holding safety meetings for critical works.
- Issue a work permits (hot work permits, cold work permits, excavation, confined space entry…etc.).
- Make accident investigations.
- Training new employee on basics of safety at refineries.
? during this period supervised the new projects like THIOPAQ unit (soure water biological treatment) which have been done by the Italian company TECHNIP during this period I have been responsible for the basic study, construction activities, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and operation.
