Objective
To identify and join an organization that would benefit from the knowledge, skills, and experience that I presently possess in the areas of Hotel/Culinary Management. I believe with the marriage of my skills with the proper organization would benefit the company and allow me to further my career.
Experience
2005 – Present : Hotel Services Manager, United States Navy, Jacksonville FL. Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of more than 500 rooms, for subordinates and Navy Officers alike, giving detailed services to the Chief of Naval Operations, Senators, and other distinguished visitors. Other duties and responsibilities involved supervision of 15 navy personnel and 5 civilians, prioritizing daily workloads, handled counseling sessions, and wrote annual evaluations.
2002 – 2005: Vender Relations, United States Navy, Naval Mid-Atlantic Region, Norfolk, Va.
Primary responsible for updating and maintaining vender files, locally and abroad, Accounted for old and new venders. Properly ordered, received and inventoried supplies, maintaining a 99 percent validity rate of all food items. Supervise six personnel in daily and demanding duties.
1998 – 2002: Mess Decks Master At Arms / Supply Department Damage Control Supervisor, United States Navy, New Orleans La. & Norfolk, Va.
Stood various watch standing duties to include; maintaining order of patrons, keeping counts of patrons entering the facility. I also was responsible for maintaining all supply department damage control equipment. Properly rolled and hung fire hoses, ensured directional signs and hydrants were visibly labeled. Supervised ten enlisted personnel.
1997-1998: Ship Security, United States Navy, USS Theodore Roosevelt, Norfolk, Va.
Temporarily assigned to the security force onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, performed duties such as watch standing, quarter deck security, responded to security alerts as well as maintaining good order and discipline throughout the ship.

Managed the upkeep of over 600 enlisted rooms and their associated spaces.

Performed duties of preparing meals for more than 200 Navy Officers. Other duties included but was not limited to receiving orders, maintained stocked storerooms and the ensured the upkeep of cooking and eating areas.
1988 – 1995: Short Order Cook / Hotel Services Manager, United States Navy, USS Robert E. Peary, Pearl Harbor Hi. & NAS Whidbey Is., Oak Harbor Wa.
Received and prepared over 350 nutritional meals daily for both Officers and Enlisted personnel, maintain a clean and organized working area, also worked as barracks manager, responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of more than 500 enlisted room, supervised 15 enlisted personnel.
