Although the company was registered in 1996 in Singapore, the office was officially set up and full operations carried out from Singapore since May 2007. I was exclusively involved in re-writing the company’s Safety Management System manuals together with a Marine Consultant and also in the implementation. Subsequently, I was reviewing, updating and implementing changes made to the Safety Management System and Security System as per International Standards. My other duties were involved in crew selection from the Philippines, on going crew training, visiting vessels to conduct audits/inspections and also to prepare vessels for external audits/inspections. I was also involved in the delivery of new vessel as company’s representative at Sanuki Shipyard, Japan in July/August 2008 and sailed with the vessel to her first load and discharge ports in Korea and China respectively to oversee smooth operations overall. The company owns and manages Asphalt and LPG vessels.

Dealing in both crude and clean petroleum products, attended to various clients’ cargoes, stowed in tanker vessels, during cargo transfer operations. Advising and supervising - tank cleaning operations when changing grades; 4-5 grades blending of clean petroleum products, mostly for British Petroleum (BP) as clients; and cargo transfer operations during offshore lightering operations and discharging at Louisiana Offshore Oil Port (LOOP), USA. Attending as Pollution Control Representative (PCR)/Pollution & Safety Advisor (PSA). Specializing in crude oil tankers ranging from 51000 to 58000 GRT, and traveled worldwide. Started as a cadet with Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) and subsequently, worked as an Officer with American Eagle Tankers (AET), which was a subsidiary of NOL. Experienced in taking over a new vessel, Eagle Tacoma, as a Senior Deck Officer, from Imabari Shipyard, Japan, including a full sea trial in 2002. Last vessel with AET was the Eagle Boston. Served as Senior Deck Officer from Jun 1997 to Dec 2003.
