Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Australian Army, July 2005 - Present
· Employed as a vehicle mechanic in the Australian Army responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of diverse wheeled military vehicles. Equipment including the Land Rover, Mercedes Uni Mog and a Mack fleet of vehicles. Specialist equipment including the M113A1 (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) and the Bushmaster (Protected Mobility Vehicle) incorporating the caterpillar 3126E, ZF transmissions, Detroit diesel’s and Allison transmissions with tracked vehicle technology.
· I have been responsible for all aspects of vehicle maintenance working autonomously or as a team member often in arduous and remote locations under extremely testing conditions with critical deadlines.
Vehicle Mechanic – Light, McCarrolls Volkswagen, Waitara, July 2004 – July 2005.
· Employed as head mechanic responsible for setting up a brand new workshop in close liaison with the dealership manager
· Role comprised of repair and servicing, scheduled and preventative maintenance on the Volkswagen fleet of vehicles. Registration inspections as an authorised inspector.
· Skills included troubleshooting, computer assisted diagnosis and laser wheel alignment
Vehicle Mechanic – Apprentice, Brad Garlick Ford, Ryde, Jan 2000 – July 2004
· Completed apprenticeship working on a range of used passenger vehicles after two years moved up to performance vehicles mainly in the V8 ford range. Fitting performance equipment and up grading braking and suspension.

· Military, Medium ridged Small bus for up to 25 passengers and a 4x4 and 6x6 all terrain motor cycles.
